Venture Execution Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the group operating system from start to finish and implement M0/M1/M2 stage gates.

• Continuously enhance the operating system by analyzing portfolio trends.

• Facilitate the progression of Venture 001 and Venture 002 from preparation to launch, while staging Venture 003.

• Make independent decisions regarding venture sequencing and prioritization.

• Ensure timely and systematic launches, focusing on reporting outcomes rather than mere activities.

• Recruit and onboard Venture CEOs or EIRs, and develop the attraction kit and compensation structure.

• Inspire venture leaders and sustain performance at a rapid pace.

• Conduct annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly operational rhythms.

• Oversee execution in ClickUp or similar tools, and manage leadership schedules.

• Identify and address blockers and risks promptly.

• Develop Birg.co and its subsidiaries' websites and digital presence.

• Evaluate portfolio hiring requirements alongside the Head of People.

• Prioritize AI agents before adding headcount and create the AI operational framework.

• Assemble efficient, high-caliber teams as dictated by portfolio demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in startup operations, venture development, general management, or a similar operational role, preferably across multiple companies.

• Direct, hands-on experience in taking at least one company from inception to launch.

• Strong familiarity with AI tools and agentic workflows, leveraging them to replace traditional team-based tasks.

• Experience in designing or managing structured processes for mitigating risks in new initiatives, such as stage gates or funnel management.

• Practical experience in managing execution across various workstreams, products, or business lines simultaneously without relying on a large team.

• Experience reporting directly to a CEO or founder, with the ability to recognize and escalate risks early.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to deliver concise, honest evaluations of portfolio or business health.

• Comfortable working as an independent contractor, with compensation aligned to scope and impact.

• Preferred: experience in a venture studio, startup holding company, private equity operating group, or other multi-entity environments.

• Preferred: experience in building or scaling a B2B SaaS company.

• Preferred: knowledge of structured venture-building frameworks, AI agent orchestration, automation platforms, or AI-native internal tools.

• Preferred: experience as a founder and interest in operating at the portfolio level.
