Vendor Relationship Specialist, Pharmacy Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the partner network encompassing over 20 pharmacy fulfillment partners.

• Act as the main point of contact for all relationships, capacity management, product and formulary coverage, as well as performance evaluation.

• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements with pharmacy partners.

• Identify, conduct cold outreach, assess, and onboard new pharmacy partners.

• Ensure medication coverage across all 50 states while addressing coverage gaps.

• Oversee partner capacity in relation to demand forecasts and provide forward visibility.

• Assist in partner onboarding and integration with the Systems & Formulary team.

• Create repeatable processes, partner scorecards, and maintain network documentation.

• Periodically visit partner locations to confirm capability, quality, and compliance.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand & Supply Planning, Systems & Formulary, Patient Support, and Licensing & Credentialing teams.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in vendor, partner, supplier, or network management, with direct responsibility for a partner portfolio.

• Proficient understanding of 503A compounding pharmacy operations, including state licensure, compounding capabilities, and medication-specific capacity variations.

• Proven track record of independently managing pricing and commercial negotiations.

• Successful history of sourcing and qualifying new partners from the ground up, including cold outreach efforts.

• Comfortable in establishing processes, standards, and documentation in environments with minimal existing frameworks.

• Excellent cross-functional communication skills with operational, clinical, technical, and finance teams.

• Adaptable to a fast-paced, flat organizational structure with changing priorities and a high-touch relationship workload.

• Willingness to travel to partner locations approximately every 4–6 weeks.
