Vendor Relations Specialist – Waste

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the designated relationship manager for Encamp’s network of waste data vendors and haulers.

• Facilitate monthly data delivery through proactive outreach via email ahead of deadlines, following up with phone calls as necessary.

• Address and resolve issues related to late, incomplete, or improperly formatted data in collaboration with the data team.

• Create and sustain accurate vendor records in Salesforce, encompassing contacts, coverage, delivery history, and call notes.

• Monitor and report on monthly vendor delivery performance.

• Formulate and document a consistent outreach schedule and escalation process.

• Identify and onboard new waste vendors and haulers in response to expanding customer needs.

• Cultivate referral and partnership opportunities from existing vendor relationships.

• Represent the vendor network internally while providing market insights to the data, product, and customer success teams.

• Enter data into the system and carry out a basic quality assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, inside sales, account coordination, vendor management, or customer support position.

• Proficient in email and phone outreach.

• Proactive in managing stakeholder relationships.

• Capable of maintaining relationships through regular vendor follow-ups.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a substantial contact list and ongoing monthly cycles.

• Consistent in recording every interaction in a CRM; familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.

• Interested in AI tools and eager to learn.

• Experience in the waste, logistics, environmental services, or other vendor-intensive industries is a significant plus but not mandatory.

• Proactive, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
