This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute the sourcing process from start to finish, guided by the Five Pillars (Strategy, Value, Information, Performance, Relationship) of vendor management.
• Deliver a business case following the evaluation of vendor proposals, including logical assessments, strategies, and detailed cost analyses.
• Collaborate across various teams including client delivery, operational leaders, and project managers to effectively implement service strategy in a timely manner.
• Achieve cost reduction targets on both project-specific and annual bases.
• Foster relationships with vendors, offering feedback on performance, partnership dynamics, and future vision.
• Address issues and schedule alterations from vendors while assessing cost implications and leading action plans to resolve them.
• Formulate and execute the Annual Service Category Strategy by evaluating service trends, projected visions, vendor performance ratings, and cost competitiveness.
• Lead discussions for the Annual Price Review (APR) and engage in kaizen (continuous improvement) initiatives for designated services to consistently drive down costs.
• Develop and manage cost models and playbooks for services.
• Actively engage in discussions regarding insourcing versus outsourcing to enhance Ensemble's benefits.
• Conduct benchmarking of new vendors and assist in the due diligence process with all relevant stakeholders (IT, Finance, Compliance, Legal).
• 5-7 years of prior experience in a related role or field.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in sourcing, buying, or purchasing.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of the revenue cycle.
• Experience with Lean Management or Kaizen methodologies.
• Capability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment while collaborating in a team setting.
• Proficiency in prioritizing multiple tasks and working efficiently to meet deadlines.
