Vendor Management Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across IT, Legal, and Compliance departments to establish and uphold third-party risk standards and governance protocols.

• Perform thorough vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring tasks, which include assessing consumer-impact risk, conducting complaint analyses, and verifying adherence to privacy and data protection regulations.

• Oversee third-party risk documentation and reporting, ensuring the maintenance of vendor and data processor inventories, timely onboarding and offboarding due diligence, and the execution of periodic compliance evaluations.

• Carry out daily risk assessments to evaluate vendor significance and identify inherent risks in areas such as the handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), BSA/AML compliance, and credit decision processes.

• Collaborate with Legal to ensure that effective contracts are established and with Information Security to confirm the technical safeguards implemented by our third-party partners.

• Identify, monitor, and escalate risk events or performance issues to senior leadership and banking partners through established issue-tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in vendor risk management, procurement, or third-party compliance, ideally within the fintech or regulated financial services sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of the third-party risk management lifecycle and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML).

• Documented history of managing a high volume of vendor assessments while maintaining a state of 'audit-readiness' for bank partners and regulatory bodies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or an equivalent practical background.

• Proven experience working with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be proficient in utilizing AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
