Vendor Management Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to develop and uphold third-party risk standards and governance practices.

• Perform thorough vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring tasks, which include assessing consumer-impact risks, analyzing complaints, and verifying compliance with privacy and data protection standards.

• Oversee third-party risk documentation and reporting, which entails maintaining the vendor and data processor inventory, ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding due diligence, and conducting periodic compliance reviews.

• Carry out daily risk assessments to evaluate vendor criticality and identify inherent risks in areas such as PII handling, BSA/AML, and credit decisioning.

• Work with the Legal team to ensure that effective contracts are established and with Information Security to confirm the technical safeguards of our third-party partners.

• Recognize, monitor, and escalate risk events or performance failures to senior leadership and bank partners through established issue-tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in vendor risk management, procurement, or third-party compliance, preferably in the fintech or regulated financial services sector.

• Knowledge of the third-party risk management lifecycle and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML).

• Proven experience in managing a high volume of vendor assessments and maintaining a state of 'audit-readiness' for bank partners and regulators.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be adept at utilizing AI to improve productivity, research, and communication.
