Vehicle Assistance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operation of Motional autonomous vehicles (AV) on both closed courses and public roadways.

• Assist in the decision-making processes of the AV during real-world scenarios.

• Supervise the AV camera feeds to ensure optimal functioning of both the cameras and the vehicles.

• Provide real-time support to the AV, ensuring safe navigation and direction.

• Collaborate closely with various engineering teams to conduct system testing and evaluate new scenarios.

• Engage with the AV to troubleshoot and resolve issues through diverse software and hardware platforms.

• Timely report any system functionality concerns to management.

• Perform additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A demonstrated passion for autonomous vehicle technology.

• Previous experience in autonomous vehicle operations, automotive sectors, robotics, fleet management, technical training, or adult education settings.

• Background in delivering instructor-led training, facilitating technical workshops, or executing structured onboarding initiatives.

• Capability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems across automotive systems, robotic platforms, computer hardware, software applications, and network infrastructures.

• Proficient in Linux-based systems with a working knowledge of scripting languages used in diagnostics, automation, or analysis.

• Competence in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.

• Successful completion of mandatory role-based eLearning and certification regarding supported vehicle platforms and systems.

• Proven capability to apply logical reasoning in problem-solving scenarios.

• Established ability to adhere to detailed procedural instructions.

• Strong skills in both written and verbal communication.

• Excellent organizational abilities and effective time management skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
