This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Luxembourg.
• Provide support for various end-user computing applications, including VBA and Python applications, macros, and PowerBI dashboards across multiple divisions.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships within different divisions, manage the change process, and ensure effective communication.
• Serve as a change agent to facilitate efficient deployments and modifications to both new and existing industry practices.
• Identify potential risks and collaborate on issues related to changes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather business requirements and any other pertinent information.
• Develop new features as needed for the VBA/Python applications, macros, and PowerBI dashboards.
• Follow up on deliverables associated with these applications with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Create documentation to support internal decision-making, testing, or training materials.
• Design and implement an internal communication plan to announce changes and new features to the business.
• Conduct testing, maintain change management documentation, and assist in the deployment of technology, transitioning it to production support.
• Ensure that all materials are archived in the SharePoint environment for audit purposes.
• Assist with division-related tasks as necessary, including organizing and facilitating meetings.
• Develop meeting agendas, prepare minutes, follow up on outstanding actions, and identify risks and issues along with appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Participate in the handover of VBA, Java, and SQL applications along with their corresponding documentation.
• Engage in the handover of development and change management processes.
• Provide a handover protocol to document the completeness of handover tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, data science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of direct experience with relevant IT projects.
• Experience in the development and rollout of VBA and MS Office Macros (Access & Excel).
• Strong understanding of modern IT architecture.
• Good knowledge of and experience with SQL, XML, and XSLT.
• Effective project management skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks under competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Experience in delivering reports and other communications at a senior management level.
• Capability to document clear and comprehensive business requirements.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Professional experience with PowerBI and/or Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.
• Background in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Experience with financial IT systems such as SWIFT, Murex, and Bloomberg is desirable.
• Proven skills in customer-oriented change management communication.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in English communication skills, both verbal and written.
