This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Spearhead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and completion of intricate healthcare programs that support an integrated healthcare system.
• Offer strategic guidance on enterprise initiatives, encompassing Federal EHR implementation, PACT Act initiatives, access improvement strategies, OPPE, and other VHA priorities.
• Oversee contract performance, project timelines, deliverables, staffing, and resource distribution across various workstreams.
• Collaborate with VA leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities, address challenges, and achieve desired program outcomes.
• Manage program governance, risk assessment, performance reporting, and quality assurance tasks.
• Lead project management efforts by employing industry best practices and recognized project management methodologies.
• Supervise data analytics, performance metrics, dashboard creation, and reporting to enhance executive decision-making.
• Assist in budget planning, financial oversight, and budget application management activities.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation to boost operational efficiency and program effectiveness.
• Direct organizational change management initiatives that support the implementation of clinical, operational, and technological advancements.
• Ensure adherence to VA policies, federal regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Provide mentorship to project managers and technical staff while promoting collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
• A Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in healthcare program management relevant to the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent project management certification.
• At least six (6) years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency in a program or project management role.
• Preferred Qualifications
• A Master's degree in a healthcare-related field, such as Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a similar discipline.
• Six (6) or more years of experience working within or providing contract support to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
• Experience in implementing enterprise clinical and/or healthcare technology solutions in a large healthcare system.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational change management, process improvement, and implementation science methodologies.
• Professional certifications such as Prosci Change Management, Lean, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong technical expertise in healthcare informatics, healthcare data analytics, performance measurement, and reporting.
• Experience in supporting enterprise governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Familiarity with federal healthcare operations, VA policies, and healthcare modernization efforts.
