This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and execute CWM removal under a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
• Design intricate technical strategies and competitive pricing models for the identification and removal of Chemical Warfare Material (CWM) and/or conventional munitions.
• Create CWM work plans and timelines, while managing budgets and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Direct field teams during removal operations in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology, or a related earth science field.
• Over 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Project Manager for federal projects.
• US citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
• Experience with USACE Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and performing CWM remediation operations is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of USACE EP 75-1-3 and experience in developing and executing a DDESB-approved Chemical Safety Submission (CSS) for CWM removal tasks.
• More than 5 years of experience managing CWM task order work for the USACE Huntsville Center is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Familiarity with project financial accounting, reporting, and controls.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational management skills with an ability to execute detail-oriented work.
• Experience with MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification.
• Experience managing CWM projects for the USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal.
• Proven skills in proposal writing, including Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals.
• Demonstrated success in marketing and securing work effectively.
• Advanced understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and USACE MMR, focusing on CWM requirements and processes.
