Adjunct Professor – Hospitality Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the college's mission by enabling a dynamic virtual learning environment through various delivery methods.

• Prepare the assigned course(s) in Blackboard, ensuring all required components are completed by the specified deadlines.

• Provide instruction for approximately 12-15 hours each week across five days.

• Facilitate discussions, ensuring a minimum of three replies are posted during each week's discussion.

• Conduct one Virtual Office Hour weekly for each assigned course section.

• Ensure the gradebook is updated on a weekly basis.

• Stay informed about current teaching disciplines/fields of study and best practices in distance education through ongoing professional development opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Travel and Tourism, or an MBA with a concentration in Travel and Tourism.

• Current resume/CV.

• Unofficial transcripts for PhD (if applicable), Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees.

• A minimum of three professional references, including phone numbers and email addresses.

• Must possess a modern skill set to support active learning and effective assessment evaluation methodologies.
