This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the Program Manager and the main contact for the Government, ensuring effective contract execution and client satisfaction.
• Oversee, guide, and assist contractor staff, which includes staffing, task assignments, performance evaluation, and daily operations.
• Manage comprehensive federal acquisition processes for a diverse array of procurement actions.
• Perform acquisition planning, conduct market research, and develop procurement strategies.
• Create, review, and maintain acquisition documentation, such as acquisition plans, solicitations, determinations and findings, award documents, contract modifications, and other related procurement paperwork.
• Assist in proposal assessments, negotiations, source selections, contract awards, and activities following contract award.
• Keep thorough electronic contract files and generate necessary reports, metrics, and status updates.
• Facilitate customer meetings and ensure regular communication regarding contract execution and acquisition efforts.
• Guarantee adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), HHSAR, agency policies, and best practices in acquisition.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to support program objectives.
• Bachelor's degree
• At least seven (7) years of experience in program management, federal contracting, acquisition planning, or a combination of these fields
• Current or prior FAC-C certification (or a civilian equivalent) held for a minimum of five (5) years
• Proven experience in managing comprehensive federal acquisitions
• Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), acquisition planning, contract administration, source selection, market research, and contract modifications
• Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Integrated Contract Expert (ICE) – highly desirable
• Background in supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or other federal civilian agencies
• Experience supervising acquisition professionals
• Proficient in using electronic contract writing systems
• Capability to handle multiple concurrent acquisition tasks in a dynamic environment
