UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of product design tasks from the initial concept phase and definition through to implementation and post-production support.

• Collaborate with design leaders, product managers, user experience researchers, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to create user-friendly and technically viable solutions.

• Develop product features, user flows, interactions, and states that cater to user needs and align with business objectives.

• Utilize systems thinking to enhance connected experiences that impact job seekers, consumers, and employers.

• Generate and refine sketches, wireframes, user flows, detailed designs, and interactive prototypes.

• Simplify AI-driven and personalized experiences through clear interaction design, thoughtful states, and a keen focus on usability.

• Design intricate product flows with a strong emphasis on detail, legibility, comprehension, accessibility, and inclusive design.

• Leverage qualitative and quantitative user data to evaluate concepts, improve solutions, and substantiate design recommendations.

• Offer design insights that guide product trade-offs, priorities, and overall direction.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams during the design and implementation phases to ensure technical feasibility and high-quality outcomes.

• Create organized Figma design files for engineering handoff.

• Conduct design quality assurance during implementation and assist in resolving design discrepancies.

• Strategically plan design tasks and identify clear milestones for team alignment, team reviews, design reviews, and leadership approvals.

• Provide consistent weekly or daily progress updates based on project requirements.

• Develop an AI prototype to aid in product-definition activities.

• Prepare documentation and supplementary materials for design reviews with colleagues and leadership.

• Manage and prioritize milestones across various projects in a flexible, remote-first working environment.

• Enhance team culture through design critiques, user experience initiatives, or participation in hiring processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing a clear design process and user-centered digital product experience work.

• Proficiency in Figma, AI prototyping tools, and design systems.

• Experience in designing complex product experiences, such as B2B products, data-intensive platforms, AI-assisted features, personalized experiences, or recommendation-based elements.

• Capability to navigate effectively through ambiguity while balancing product strategy, detailed execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to apply established design methodologies and existing frameworks to produce quality work within deadlines.

• Strong capabilities in systems thinking and interaction design.

• Experience in creating sketches, wireframes, user flows, detailed designs, and prototypes.

• Understanding of accessibility and principles of inclusive design.

• Background in designing experiences for native mobile applications.

• Experience collaborating with product management, research, design, and engineering throughout the product design process.

• Ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative user data to evaluate and refine design solutions.

• Experience in supporting engineering delivery, implementation reviews, or design quality assurance.
