This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and deliver the UI/UX for AI solutions developed in collaboration with clients, covering everything from essential app workflows to innovative features.
• Collaborate closely with engineers during swift development cycles, transforming vague requirements into functional products efficiently.
• Take ownership of the entire design spectrum: including information architecture, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI in Figma.
• Focus on AI-native user experiences, including review views, agent interactions, chat interfaces versus structured layouts, and the various states associated with probabilistic outputs.
• Manage multiple product developments simultaneously while maintaining high quality without hindering team progress.
• Convert unclear stakeholder feedback into coherent, deliverable designs, and recognize when to challenge scope limitations.
• Establish streamlined design patterns and a reusable system to avoid repetitive design efforts across projects.
• Take charge of comprehensive user flows and information architecture for intricate, data-rich products.
• Determine what information should be highlighted and what can be withheld, implementing progressive disclosure to prevent overwhelming users with dense AI-generated content.
• A robust design portfolio showcasing tangible software releases, rather than solely concept pieces.
• Proficiency in Figma and contemporary UI design; capable of transitioning from wireframe to refined, production-ready UI swiftly.
• Comfort in designing for AI products and adapting to evolving requirements as the product matures.
• Ability to collaborate directly with engineers, making practical compromises to expedite shipping.
• Strong discernment regarding when designs need to be pixel-perfect and when it's acceptable to prioritize speed.
• High level of initiative, low ego, and dependable under deadlines; others trust you to take charge.
• Regular use of AI tools within your design process.
• Experience in creating or managing a design system (Nice To Haves).
• Sufficient front-end knowledge to read code and make minor UI adjustments directly (e.g., Tailwind, simple component modifications) (Nice To Haves).
• Exposure to various sectors such as finance, healthcare, or customer experience (Nice To Haves).
• Experience in HR technology or a similarly intricate, workflow-intensive B2B field.
• Fully remote.
• Initially offered as a flexible/contract engagement (ranging from part-time to full-time based on fit and workload), with potential for growth.
• Compensation to be determined based on scope, experience, and engagement structure.
