This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the optimization strategy and identify data-driven opportunities.
• Assume full responsibility for the optimization strategy for each account, establishing direction rather than merely highlighting findings.
• Conduct analysis of onsite performance data (GA4, Shopify, heatmaps, etc.) to pinpoint friction points, drop-offs, and growth opportunities throughout the customer journey.
• Link user behavior to business KPIs (CVR, AOV, LTV, churn, retention, etc.) through a proven data process.
• Distill large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
• Spearhead the creation of prioritized optimization roadmaps that align with client business objectives.
• Assess opportunities using structured prioritization frameworks (impact, effort, confidence).
• Balance immediate wins with long-term strategic initiatives, substantiating trade-offs with data.
• Lead and manage A/B testing programs across various clients.
• Formulate hypotheses grounded in data and behavioral insights.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to implement experiments.
• Evaluate results with statistical rigor, and facilitate the scaling of successful solutions throughout the experience.
• Oversee the measurement strategy for each account, including custom events, funnel tracking, and KPI architecture within GA4 and Shopify.
• Construct and analyze end-to-end conversion funnels (landing → PDP → cart → checkout → purchase → retention).
• Identify tracking gaps and guide engineering/data partners through comprehensive event instrumentation.
• Develop reporting and dashboards (GA4, Looker, etc.) that present performance and experiment impacts in an easily understandable manner.
• Manage the performance narrative from start to finish — detailing what occurred, why it happened, and what steps to take next — transforming analytics into a narrative that stakeholders can act upon.
• Act as the strategic and analytical lead for clients, directing optimization decisions with clarity and authority.
• Deliver insights and performance narratives using compelling, business-focused storytelling that resonates with senior stakeholders.
• Integrate data, UX, and business strategy into a unified, coherent perspective.
• Facilitate collaboration with UX designers, UI developers, and project managers to implement recommendations effectively.
• Ensure that strategic intent is maintained throughout the design and development process.
• Foster alignment among teams and accounts, leading without relying on direct authority.
• Define and refine KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned with revenue, LTV, and retention.
• Monitor the performance of optimization initiatives and adjust strategies based on outcomes.
• Establish scalable, repeatable measurement and reporting processes across accounts.
• 5–8+ years of experience in UX, CRO, Product Analytics, or Digital Strategy, with proven ownership of optimization strategy — beyond mere execution.
• Established history of driving measurable business impact through data-informed optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify analytics & reporting, and A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Convert, Shoplift, VWO, Intelligems).
• Strong grasp of GA4 event architecture, including custom event design, funnel setup, and troubleshooting tracking issues.
• Proficient in analyzing multi-step conversion funnels and user journeys to identify drop-offs and opportunities.
• Capacity to translate complex, raw data into clear reporting and executive-level insights — this is a core competency, not a secondary skill.
• Experience in owning and prioritizing optimization roadmaps.
• Practical experience in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests.
• Solid understanding of experimentation frameworks and statistical significance.
• Ability to lead and scale experimentation initiatives across multiple projects.
• Exceptional storytelling skills — converting dense data into a clear, actionable, business-relevant narrative.
• Experience engaging directly with clients or stakeholders in a consultative, advisory role.
• Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making through data-driven narratives.
• Proven ability to lead optimization strategy across design, development, and product teams.
• Ability to drive execution and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong sense of ownership, organization, and accountability.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, and company-paid life insurance coverage.
• Employer contributions to 401(k).
• Employee assistance program.
• Begin accruing 20 days of paid time off (PTO) annually, plus holidays.
• Annual winter break: We close for the week between Christmas and New Year's to allow everyone to truly disconnect and recharge.
• Paid parental leave.
• Company events, happy hours, and retreats.
• Budget allocated for continuing education.
