Senior UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the user experience across the primary systems of the game, including flows, information architecture, interactions, and layout.

• Create the HUD, menus, screens, and real-time input elements to ensure clarity and an enjoyable user experience.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups, guiding them through to successful final implementation.

• Construct and integrate your UI using Unreal (UMG), collaborating closely with a UI engineer.

• Establish and uphold a UI design system that can be utilized by both the team and external vendors.

• Supervise outsourced graphic designers on aspects such as iconography, color schemes, and overall visual refinement.

• Conduct playtests and make rapid iterations as the game progresses.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing UI/UX for games, with at least one completed title or significant work in progress.

• A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX projects on systems-rich games, demonstrating your design process and thought process.

• Proven capability to simplify complex systems into intuitive designs without compromising their depth.

• Clear understanding of cozy/life-simulation/management games and adventure games, as you will be creating a hybrid of these genres.

• Practical experience in building UI in Unreal (UMG). Exceptional UX candidates with limited Unreal experience may be considered, but some hands-on experience is highly anticipated.

• Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Suite.
