This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Perform UX research, focusing mainly on usability and quality-validation testing.
• Sustain the social and technical frameworks that facilitate scalable and repeatable research.
• Oversee the entire study lifecycle, from participant recruitment and project scoping to analysis, result communication, and collaboration on new opportunities.
• Assess released features and confirm design assumptions.
• Progress towards leading research initiatives in one or more product domains.
• Guide designers and product managers in study design and results interpretation.
• Create reusable enablement materials, templates, reference guides, research methodologies, and workflows.
• Manage and enhance the research library, which includes documentation, tags, project organization, and accessibility.
• Supervise the research toolset, templates, guides, and resources.
• Review ongoing feedback and ensure that issues and friction points are documented by relevant EPD pods.
• Oversee the participant panel, including invitations, project cleanup, study compensation, receipts, and budget management.
• Coordinate vendor renewals and procurement processes with legal, finance, and the senior researcher.
• Report to the design manager and work collaboratively with the UX researcher, product designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research or a related applied research field.
• Strong skills in usability testing across both qualitative and experimental methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing surveys.
• Capability to learn and implement high-precision quantitative methods as necessary.
• Solid foundation in conducting structured and semi-structured qualitative interviews.
• Fluency in mixed methods, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences and advocate for insights across functions.
• Experience in independently managing research logistics, such as recruiting, scheduling, compensation, and study operations.
• Familiarity with developer tooling, enterprise, security, or networking environments.
