This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Execute continuous qualitative research in the field, incorporating interviews, observations, and usability assessments.
• Identify real-world user challenges and authenticate product priorities prior to code development.
• Transform field observations into actionable journey maps and precise product recommendations.
• Integrate genuine user perspectives into discovery processes to influence roadmap choices.
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Decision Scientists.
• Evaluate early prototypes and confirm product hypotheses.
• Merge qualitative insights with quantitative data analysis.
• Create and oversee an ethical panel of local research participants.
• Ensure the privacy, safety, and dignity of users throughout field research activities.
• Develop on-the-ground UX research capabilities in Kenya.
• Connect field realities with product strategy within the Product Excellence team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, anthropology, sociology, public health, human-computer interaction (HCI), IT, or equivalent practical experience in the field.
• 1–2+ years of practical experience in field research, community-led initiatives, innovation, field operations, or program execution within Kenya.
• Demonstrated experience engaging directly with community frontline workers, peer mobilizers, or healthcare providers in local environments.
• Proficient in Figma, Google Workspace, and digital survey tools.
• Basic understanding of quantitative data metrics, including drop-off rates and survey outcomes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in local Kenyan languages is a considerable advantage.
• Must reside in Kenya.
• Willingness to travel locally for field research observations.

• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
