UX & Product Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• Lead and establish benchmarks for both qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Define user personas that inform design choices.

• Elevate standards for usability, accessibility, and intentional product design.

• Guide and mentor designers, share insights, provide constructive feedback, and set a positive example.

• Foster design culture and methodologies throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in UX, product design, or a related field.

• Proven experience in designing cloud infrastructure and/or products aimed at developers.

• Confidence in designing for technical users, particularly developers.

• Proficient in conducting qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Ability to simplify technical complexities into intuitive user experiences.

• Systems-thinking capability to decide when to solve a problem uniquely versus creating scalable solutions.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to engage in relevant details.

• Collaborative approach to working closely with engineers, balancing user requirements with technical constraints.

• Clear communication skills and confidence in articulating design thinking to engineers and leadership.

• Eagerness to explore AI and modern tools, with a commitment to enhancing product design and development workflows.

• Strong attention to detail, focused on delivering fast, simple, and seamless product experiences.

• Experience with design systems, component libraries, or design tokens is a plus.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular is advantageous.

• Experience in designing APIs, cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, or other developer tools is beneficial.

• Background in utilizing AI to expedite research, prototyping, or product design is a plus.

• Experience in mentoring designers or expanding design practices is advantageous.

• Must reside in Europe, preferably within CET ±3 hours.
