UX, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Outline user journeys in intricate B2B environments (CFOs, controllers, founders, financial operators)

• Test assumptions through qualitative research methods: user interviews, usability tests, and workflow observations

• Develop high-fidelity interfaces for embedded finance platforms, cash management, credit, and international accounts

• Transform the intricacies of financial operations into user-friendly workflows: credit approvals, cash transactions, foreign exchange (FX), and insurance

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure alignment of needs and feasibility

• Establish and uphold design systems that ensure consistent product scalability

• Articulate design choices effectively through mockups, interactive prototypes, and presentations for stakeholders

• Guarantee accessibility (WCAG) across all interfaces, including complex financial operations

• Rapidly iterate based on user feedback and product performance metrics

• Guide junior designers by sharing patterns, processes, and standards of design excellence

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Arts, Psychology, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years in UX/UI design

• Experience in designing complex or operational products (fintech, banking, administrative tools, dashboards)

• Proficient in Figma and interactive prototyping tools

• Skilled in qualitative user research techniques: interviews, usability tests, journey mapping

• Familiarity with design systems and component patterns

• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ARIA)

• Understanding of finance, including knowledge of credit, cash flow, and foreign exchange processes

• Strong portfolio showcasing medium- to high-complexity projects

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions

• Fluent in Portuguese; proficiency in English preferred

• Additional differentiators: experience with B2B financial products or embedded finance; background in rapidly growing startups or fintechs; understanding of design thinking and agile methodologies; experience with data analysis and product analytics; basic web development skills (HTML/CSS, React); knowledge of internationalization and financial compliance; prior mentoring experience with mid/junior designers; active engagement in UX/Design communities
