This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams and ensure the coordination of high-quality technical deliverables throughout various project phases.
• Establish and uphold QA/QC processes during the design development stages.
• Manage project budgets, expenses, scope, financial forecasts, and target financial objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, lead design reviews, present design choices, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Develop and oversee project execution plans, timelines, and design delivery processes utilizing digital platforms.
• Ensure timely achievement of design milestones while managing changes, risks, and scope adjustments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders for a cohesive design delivery approach.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports, technical documentation, and presentations that adhere to federal standards, compliance, and funding requirements.
• Contribute to strategies for project pursuits, fee proposals, and approaches aimed at securing federal design projects.
• Provide leadership in both project delivery and business development initiatives as a "seller-doer."
• Willing to travel up to 20%, including occasional overnight trips.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within the federal market sector.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale multidisciplinary design-engineered solutions and construction projects.
• A solid financial background pertaining to project and client management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in reviewing drawings and multidisciplinary designs through digital platforms.
• Basic understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions.
• Must obtain Certified Project Management (CPM) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering-related fields with a focus on the built environment.
