UX Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product quality by pinpointing and resolving UX issues.

• Develop intricate UI components, including a custom Taxonomic filter and Date-Time picker.

• Enhance the new component library.

• Establish a design system and create reusable components for fellow developers.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance development, engage in backend tasks as necessary, and automate repetitive activities.

• Iterate swiftly within a close feedback loop.

• Focus on user experience to ensure user satisfaction.

• Design solutions and deploy code from initial concepts without waiting for comprehensive specifications.

• Make product-related decisions as a member of an independent product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional frontend skills and a keen design sensibility.

• Proficiency in React; experience with Next.js or Remix is a plus.

• Strong skills in Tailwind CSS.

• Awareness of browser compatibility nuances.

• Portfolio, Twitter, or Dribbble showcasing the ability to create visually appealing products.

• Capability to explain why one design is superior to another.

• Inherent focus on user experience.

• Proven history of delivering results quickly without compromising product integrity.

• Significant frontend experience with a readiness to tackle backend tasks.

• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or Codex.

• Strong attention to detail concerning interaction design and visual quality.

• Understanding of typography, whitespace, visual hierarchy, and color theory.

• Knowledge of the DOM, component lifecycles, and performance limitations.

• Ability to create reusable, accessible, and high-performance components.

• Submission of GitHub profile, resume/CV, and portfolio/personal website is required for application.
