This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Develop web experiences for both customers and staff at Ticketure.
• Take ownership of problem-solving from initial requirements to high-quality production delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, Design, and the broader Ticketure team.
• Assume overall responsibility for technical tasks that involve the contributions of others.
• Ensure that work adheres to technical norms and maintains quality standards.
• Coordinate with client-facing teams to facilitate feature delivery, meet client expectations, and address and resolve issues.
• Engage with clients to plan projects or tackle issues as necessary.
• Support contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by being reachable and willing to work on short notice and outside of regular hours during ticket-selling outages.
• Balance constraints of the existing codebase with the goals outlined in the roadmap.
• Stay updated on web technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and suggest improvements.
• Report directly to the Director of Engineering.
• Significant software development experience using contemporary front-end technologies.
• Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, Vue, TypeScript, and JSON APIs.
• Confident in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Google Suite.
• Experience with Slack.
• Must possess the legal right to work in New Zealand, with application options for New Zealand citizens/permanent residents or work visa holders.
