UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to UX design initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, from the discovery phase to final design specifications and delivery.

• Transform intricate financial workflows into user-friendly experiences for B2B clients and subsequent consumer interactions.

• Design, prototype, and evaluate user experiences for digital financial products.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to align user requirements with business objectives and technical constraints, participating in discovery efforts to identify issues and shape design opportunities.

• Clearly communicate design rationale by articulating the reasoning behind decisions—including user needs, business context, and intended outcomes—enabling cross-functional partners to make informed choices.

• Work alongside Engineering throughout the design and development phases to validate feasibility, comprehend constraints, and support the delivery of practical, high-quality solutions.

• Engage in agile processes such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews to ensure that design intent is properly understood and executed.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and effectively communicate design decisions and tradeoffs.

• Present and advocate for UX decisions to stakeholders.

• Operate within an established design system, utilizing and enhancing patterns as necessary.

• Design within product, technical, and regulatory boundaries while ensuring usability.

• Develop scalable design systems, components, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.

• Participate in grooming sessions to ensure high-quality implementation.

• Employ AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) and automation tools (e.g., Make) to enhance ideation, prototyping, and workflow efficiency.

• Integrate user testing, usability feedback, and research insights to guide design decisions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect qualitative and quantitative insights and iterate on designs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of UX design experience, ideally in enterprise (B2B) or complex products.

• Strong experience working with design systems at scale.

• Experience in designing responsive web applications across desktop and mobile platforms, with a mobile-first approach.

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (design systems, components, prototyping).

• Capability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations.

• Experience or familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies.

• Comfort using AI tools as part of the design process.
