UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the UX strategy for designated product features by aligning user needs, product objectives, scope, flow, and usability prior to the start of development.

• Generate wireframes, mockups, user flows, prototypes, and comprehensive design specifications utilizing Figma.

• Articulate intended interactions, interface states, accessibility considerations, and implementation requirements.

• Employ reusable components, design systems, and established UX standards to produce consistent and maintainable user experiences.

• Determine when research or usability testing is necessary and carry out focused research or testing.

• Convert insights and user feedback into actionable design suggestions.

• Collaborate with product managers and owners, developers, UX writers, and quality engineers on inquiries, trade-offs, feasibility considerations, and usability challenges.

• Remain actively involved throughout implementation by addressing UX inquiries, engaging in design and review discussions, updating designs, and ensuring adherence to approved UX intent.

• Detect inconsistencies in UX patterns and documentation, recommend corrections, and assist in maintaining approved standards across design and frontend documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing digital products or software applications, with hands-on involvement throughout the UX process from problem identification and user flows to design, prototyping or specifications, and implementation.

• Proficient knowledge of Figma, including components, user flows, prototypes, responsive layouts, and design systems.

• Experience in producing clear wireframes, mockups, flows, and design specifications that development teams can utilize for feature implementation.

• Familiarity with using user research, usability testing, or user feedback to guide and enhance design choices.

• Background in collaborating with product managers or owners and software developers in a product development setting.

• Understanding of design systems and shared UX standards, with a keen interest in applying and enhancing them.

• Working knowledge of accessibility and usability factors in digital product design.

• A portfolio showcasing digital product or UX design work along with your contributions to the design process.

• Commitment to staying engaged post-design handoff to address implementation queries and modify designs as product or technical considerations arise.

• U.S. citizenship is required.
