Utility Line Clearance – Foreman/Trimmers/Bucket Operators, CDL Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provides oversight and direction to a tree crew while executing designated tasks.

• Engages in daily communication with the General Foreman regarding all job-related matters.

• Demonstrates the capability to perform all necessary skills of tree trimmers with an emphasis on safety.

• Understands and manages the assigned project effectively.

• Maintains all documentation related to equipment inspections.

• Conducts inspections and maintenance of equipment.

• Completes daily reports and paperwork accurately.

• Submits timesheets punctually and with precision.

• Undertakes any additional assigned duties and responsibilities.

• Has successfully completed all safety training videos along with First Aid and CPR Training Programs.

• Has completed the Aerial Rescue Training Program.

• Has fulfilled all Trimmer Standards requirements.

• Typically has developed climbing skills over a period of 24+ months.

• Capable of pushing/pulling brush or wood weighing more than 100 lbs.

• Able to perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly while walking, bending, sitting, or climbing.

• Consistently utilizes and applies personal protective equipment daily.

• Capable of identifying job hazards, conducting job briefings, and establishing drop zones.

• Able to recognize tree assignments and initiate drop zones efficiently.

• Competent in assessing the appropriate methods (mechanical or manual) for tree assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid Driver's License.

• CDL is preferred.

• Bilingual skills are an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator, typically 2+ years.

• Training in OSHA, Aerial Rescue, and First Aid/CPR.

• Skills in leadership, crew coordination, training, equipment inspection, daily reporting, and problem-solving.

• Knowledge of tree identification, operation of hand/power tools, climbing/trimming techniques, and equipment maintenance.

• Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, lift heavy brush, and work in diverse weather conditions.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
