This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Comprehend and comply with the National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual.
• Promote an environment that encourages team members to prioritize safety, recognize potential hazards, and promptly report safety issues to their direct chain of command.
• Maintain an active status on the agency’s platforms, including learning management systems, to complete training aimed at self-improvement, mission specifics, or Just-In-Time (JIT) training.
• Responsible for monitoring and recording patients' vital signs.
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, eating, and mobility support.
• Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses (LVNs and RNs) to complete necessary duties or tasks before the end of the shift.
• Be familiar with signs and symptoms indicating improvements or declines in medical status.
• Report any changes in patients' conditions promptly and efficiently to LVN or RN.
• Ensure patients are comfortable and well cared for during their time with Doctors and Nurses.
• Make sure patients' rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
• Recognize and identify signs of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and sexually provocative behavior when observing clients, and implement appropriate responses, reporting, and documentation procedures.
• Maintain first aid kits according to licensing standards.
• Assist in the medical intake process in conjunction with other medical staff.
• Uphold confidentiality of health care records and information in accordance with HIPAA, Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements, and National EMR confidentiality protocols and procedures.
• Help distribute the daily medical list to all designated staff members.
• Participate in transporting clients to and from the medical clinic for appointments.
• Implement National EMR safety protocols, including evacuation procedures with clients and other staff in emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a healthcare environment.
• A current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate is required, and the candidate must be eligible to work in their state of residence.
• Must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is in good standing with no restrictions (subject to annual review).
• Must furnish a current physical-medical release and provide proof of immunizations, exemptions, or declinations for the following:
• Influenza
• MMR
• Varicella
• HepB
• HepA
• Tetanus
• PPD, IGRA, or Chest X-ray
• Meningococcal (preferred)
• Must successfully pass a scheduled or random drug screening.
• Must be willing to obtain additional licenses/certifications as needed or required.
