This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate utility construction projects related to natural gas, electricity, telecommunications, and municipal infrastructure.

• Ensure that construction processes adhere to safety standards, approved designs, specifications, and all applicable federal, state, local, and corporate regulations.

• Act as a third-party representative for the utility or facility owner.

• Safeguard public safety, maintain the integrity of infrastructure, and ensure high project quality.

• Operate independently in the field while managing multiple locations each day.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably possess experience or knowledge in natural gas, electricity, telecommunications, or municipal utility construction, although it is not mandatory.

• Strong comprehension of utility safety protocols, excavation standards, and damage prevention measures.

• Capable of reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and utility maps.

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field and managing multiple locations on a daily basis.

• Familiarity with mobile technology and electronic reporting systems such as ArcGIS Survey123 and/or Field Maps is preferred but not essential.

• Experience with GPS equipment like Trimble and/or Topcon is preferred but not required.
