This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Guide the overall effectiveness of the MSL team through strong leadership, coaching, and management.
• Establish business objectives and priorities to achieve Medical Affairs plans and metrics.
• Foster continuous capability enhancement for MSL team members.
• Define team vision and expectations while encouraging ongoing improvement.
• Create strategies, processes, and capabilities that enhance scientific interaction with external experts.
• Ensure that consolidated medical insights are appropriately disseminated throughout the organization, representing external experts and patients.
• Integrate the MSL team within Medical Affairs and collaborate with cross-functional business partners.
• Align operational practices between Sales and MSL teams in conjunction with sales leadership.
• Prioritize MSL tasks and resources, including operational budgets and staffing levels.
• Attract talent and oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
• Guarantee MSL team adherence to GSK standards, policies, local codes of practice, guidelines, and laws.
• Accredited advanced degree in a life-science or basic-science field (MS, PA, MSN).
• A minimum of six years of experience within an MSL organization.
• At least two years of experience in Hepatology.
• A doctoral degree is preferred (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D., or M.D./D.O.).
• Exceptional coaching, leadership, and people-management abilities.
• Strong communication skills across all business levels.
• A solid business acumen with the ability to balance cross-functional objectives.
