This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer expertise in therapeutic areas and products specifically for the designated Oncology sector.

• Educate national and regional payers, specialty pharmacy providers, and other organized customers on the clinical and economic implications of Pfizer Oncology medications.

• Strategize and implement the Oncology Medical approach and engagement for assigned clients within a specific territory.

• Formulate and carry out Field Medical strategies that align with the Oncology Medical Affairs content plan.

• Collaborate and communicate with Medical colleagues at headquarters, Medical Information, and other Pfizer Field Medical personnel.

• Conduct live and virtual presentations, written communications, and phone or virtual discussions.

• Create and execute customer-specific initiatives, partnerships, strategic medical collaborations, and non-interventional studies.

• Act as the Oncology Medical lead for assigned clients, developing and implementing Medical account strategies.

• Provide impartial medical information utilizing pharmacoeconomic models, outcome tools, educational programs, HOPEs, non-interventional studies, and collaborative efforts.

• Develop and apply Real World Evidence-based outcome tools to enhance patient care and manage population health effectively.

• Engage with Quality Improvement Organizations, Advocacy Groups, Coalitions, and medical/healthcare associations.

• Deliver Oncology Medical support and advice for Health Information Technology initiatives.

• Analyze clinical healthcare information system workflows to minimize care gaps and enhance care efficiency and population health.

• Facilitate the development of clinical content and innovative HIT tools and resources.

• Provide expertise in electronic data collection and planning.

• Identify, design, and implement HIT solutions for Field Medical applications.

• Support HIT/clinical informatics resources for the launch of new products and indications.

• Create tools, resources, and educational materials for both internal and external audiences.

• Represent Pfizer Oncology Medical Affairs within clinical and professional associations and societies.

• Supply approved medical content and address unsolicited scientific and pharmacoeconomic inquiries.

• Review medical and scientific literature, monitor competitive developments, and attend designated conferences.

• Collaborate with Pfizer colleagues and HEOR teams to address customer outcomes and data analysis requirements.

• Coordinate Pfizer engagement for selected high-priority U.S. sites to facilitate enrollment.

• Manage a substantial volume of field-based projects and ensure current internal training compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health science.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; over 8 years with a master’s degree; over 7 years with a terminal degree.

• Background in clinical, formulary, and/or other management roles.

• Experience in managed care, pharmaceutical industry, and/or Quality Improvement.

• Proficiency in Data Analytics and/or HEOR, with strong methodological competencies in study design, data analysis, and interpretation.

• Extensive experience interacting with payers and other organized customers is essential.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to manage and constructively resolve conflicts.

• Diverse leadership experience, including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor others, and oversee colleagues’ work.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Capable of communicating substantial amounts of scientific information clearly and concisely.

• Ability to prioritize multiple demands and apply situational leadership skills.

• Willingness to travel, including overnight trips for customer, industry, and professional society meetings.

• Competence to operate a Pfizer company vehicle with a valid U.S. Driver’s License.

• Regularly travel by air.

• Reside within a 2-hour drive of a major airport.

• Flexibility to potentially travel 40–50% of the time.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

• Annual base salary ranging from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00.

• Eligibility for Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of base salary.
