User Support Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Senior Contractor tasked with the design, implementation, and management of end-user support for a substantial organizational component utilizing a wide range of applications and hardware.

• Responsible for the design, direction, and assessment of the overall program's effectiveness.

• Manages all elements of user and system documentation, training, communication, budgeting, and staffing.

• Actively seeks enhancements to products, technologies, and methodologies.

• Provides independent recommendations to Government managers regarding optimal application accessibility and identification of the most suitable packages for specific needs or the current technical environment.

• Reports to the Contractor IT Manager or the Systems Manager for major cases, while collaborating extensively and directly with Government managers, attorneys, IT personnel, and support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to commencement (candidates do not need to be cleared at the time of application).

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to function effectively in a fully remote work environment.

• A minimum of seven years of direct support experience for end users of computer applications is preferred, including at least three years of supervisory experience in providing such support.

• Proven experience in establishing an end-user support program.

• Must possess expert-level proficiency with the supported applications; in-depth knowledge of the network, telecommunications, and operating systems environment being supported is required.

• At least two years of experience in automated litigation support is highly preferred.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.
