This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Spearhead user research to identify fresh insights and opportunities.
• Grasp current needs and expectations, while testing prospective design solutions.
• Collaborate with partners, designers, product managers, and developers on research initiatives.
• Build a comprehensive research portfolio that spans the entire lifecycle.
• Oversee multiple research projects concurrently.
• Formulate detailed research plans with well-defined objectives.
• Execute usability sessions and create quantitative surveys.
• Conduct interviews with partners and clients.
• Develop prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
• Extract insights through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Convert insights into actionable recommendations applicable to both digital and physical products.
• Develop communication tools to disseminate insights among development teams.
• Present research findings to the broader team in a clear and structured manner.
• Implement a robust research strategy by working alongside product teams and partners.
• A minimum of three years' experience in research, user experience, or human-centered design.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proficient in designing and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.
• Ability to collaborate within diverse and cross-departmental teams.
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to present ideas effectively.
• A genuine interest in and experience with various people and cultures.
• Familiarity with critical thinking in a fast-paced operating environment.
• Proven experience in enhancing the customer experience and achieving measurable improvements.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficiency in PowerBI.
• Experience with D2L Brightspace.
• Background in data reporting and visualization.
