This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Conduct an initial assessment of the readiness of field staff, their data literacy, and current workflow habits in pilot regions prior to the summer pilot launch.
• Collaborate with the project team to specify the in-app actions that signify a staff member’s first significant achievement.
• Create tailored onboarding pathways for Campus Staff Ministers, student leaders, and Area Directors.
• Identify and train 2–3 Peer Champions in each pilot region.
• Organize user adoption initiatives during the Staff Conference 2027.
• Establish and track key performance indicators related to adoption throughout each pilot phase.
• Develop and maintain clear, role-specific user resources.
• Work closely with the User Experience Specialist to enhance the app by addressing user pain points.
• Design and implement brief mid-pilot feedback assessments.
• Conduct a weekly spotlight practice during the pilot phases.
• Assist staff in integrating app usage into their established routines.
• Utilize insights from summer pilots to refine the adoption strategy for Fall New Student Outreach and January New Student Outreach.
• Collaborate with Area Directors and regional leadership to incorporate app usage into NSO planning processes.
• Facilitate a process allowing pilot participants to exercise visible oversight over at least one data governance policy.
• Lead structured learning reflections at the conclusion of each pilot phase.
• Partner with the steering committee to define and document the characteristics of a “healthy user” in the context of InterVarsity.
• Proactively identify potential adoption risks and bring them to the attention of the project team before they escalate into issues.
• Prepare clear and accessible adoption summaries for the student data steering committee and Executive Leadership Team.
• Document strategies for adoption, onboarding materials, resources for Peer Champions, and frameworks for debriefing.
• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith and adhere to InterVarsity’s Code of Conduct throughout the duration of the contract.
• Bachelor's degree in organizational development, communications, adult learning, ministry leadership, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in user adoption, change management, technology implementation, or organizational development, preferably within a nonprofit, church, or para-church setting.
• Familiarity with or the ability to rapidly learn InterVarsity’s field ministry rhythms, including New Student Outreach, semester cycles, and the roles of Campus Staff Ministers and Area Directors.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; capable of building trust with field staff who may be hesitant about new technology.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive data governance and staff trust issues with discretion and pastoral sensitivity.
• Knowledge of structured change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR/Prosci, Kotter); Prosci certification is a plus.
• Experience in designing and implementing structured feedback mechanisms—such as pulse surveys, debriefs, or focus groups—and translating insights into actionable changes.
• Analytical skills to differentiate between usage metrics and authentic adoption signals; familiarity with leading indicator frameworks is advantageous.
• Ability to produce concise, user-friendly resources (quick-start guides, FAQs, role-specific reference materials) for a non-technical audience.
• Collaborative work style; able to effectively engage with a cross-functional team, including product, field leadership, and an external technology partner (Gloo).
