U.S. Tax & Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manage client accounting and tax engagements.

• Guide junior team members and evaluate the quality of their work.

• Contribute to tax planning and resolution initiatives.

• Act as a technical resource for the accounting and tax team.

• Review monthly bookkeeping and year-end engagements.

• Prepare and assess various tax returns, including those for individuals and businesses.

• Discover tax-saving opportunities and assist in year-end tax minimization strategies.

• Provide support for installment agreements and compliance projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in U.S. tax and accounting.

• Experience with an India-based outsourcing firm supporting multiple U.S. CPA firms OR direct experience with various U.S. CPA firms.

• Ability to handle multiple client engagements concurrently.

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Drake Tax, CCH, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProConnect, or comparable software.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
