Senior GSA – Tax & Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, guaranteeing the timely and precise delivery of accounting and tax services.

• Oversee and manage clients' accounting and tax compliance obligations, including tax and statutory filings.

• Offer clients guidance on best practices related to accounting and tax.

• Collaborate with internal teams and local service providers to ensure prompt service delivery.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and local service providers/teams to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions with a proactive mindset.

• Assist in the development and execution of new services and processes aimed at enhancing the client experience.

• Keep accurate records of client information and ensure that all documentation is current and complete by utilizing systems such as Salesforce, SharePoint, FreshDesk, Microsoft Teams, and other relevant software systems.

• Generate service tickets and verify data provided by customers and/or local service providers/teams. Track the progress of assigned tasks and tickets, and provide regular updates when necessary.

• Address customer inquiries as they arise and ensure the relevant teams are engaged in cases of escalations or opportunities for service enhancements.

• Develop and maintain a knowledge base specific to the region and/or service line.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and Tax within a customer-facing service delivery role.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Proficient with various market accounting systems such as Netsuite, Xero, SAGE Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

• A general understanding of the distinctions and complexities associated with Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable & Receivable Processes, Management Reporting, Consolidation services, and similar functions across multiple jurisdictions.
