This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of conditions throughout the lifespan.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Create and document treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Manage both acute and chronic conditions, including mental health issues for pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultations or referrals to other healthcare professionals when suitable.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated with current clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities like reviewing lab results.
• Provide flexibility in scheduling, including availability during evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, having previously completed an accredited nursing program.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license while maintaining Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in compliance with state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Maintain an active RN compact license.
• Hold multiple active state licenses **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in delivering care to populations ranging from newborns to adults.
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and capability to manage a diverse array of medical conditions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and patient engagement.
• Proficient with technology and electronic medical record systems.
• Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from federal health program participation.
