This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide array of conditions throughout various life stages.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests when necessary.
• Create and document treatment plans accurately and punctually.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based healthcare.
• Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Offer flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master's or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, having previously graduated from an accredited nursing institution.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license while maintaining Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in compliance with state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Maintain an active RN compact license.
• Hold active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Demonstrated experience providing care to patients from newborns to adults.
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and capacity to manage a diverse range of conditions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and patient engagement.
• Proficient in technology and electronic medical record systems.
• Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
