This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Configuration and commissioning of wind farm controllers for the Nordex Group in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, predominantly remote.
• Setup of controller interfaces along with the preparation and execution of signal and control tests.
• Coordination with customers and grid operators to define project-specific requirements, testing concepts, and solutions.
• Participation in the implementation and successful completion of wind farm controller projects.
• Configuration of complex projects involving master and slave controls.
• Support in coordinating with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, as well as in controller production and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Contribution to the definition and optimization of processes in collaboration with department and team management.
• Completed degree in electrical engineering, electronics, IT, telecommunications, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in wind farm control systems and relevant communication interfaces (e.g., Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-101/-104, OPC UA/DA).
• Knowledge in carrying out controller commissioning and grid connection tests according to VDE AR-N 41XX.
• Proficient use of analysis and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Training as a skilled electrician and knowledge of wind energy plant technologies is advantageous.
