This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of conditions throughout different age groups.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Create and document treatment plans promptly and accurately.
• Oversee acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare professionals when needed.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based healthcare.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Provide flexible scheduling options, including availability during evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following graduation from an accredited nursing institution.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license alongside a maintained Registered Nurse (RN) license, in compliance with state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Active RN compact license required.
• Maintain active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in providing care to populations ranging from newborns to adults.
• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a diverse range of medical conditions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and patient engagement.
• Proficient in technology and electronic medical record systems.
• Maintain active Medicare status - Ensure good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not be excluded from participation in federal health initiatives.
