Urdu Language Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Translates concepts and meanings accurately between languages and English, considering complexity, clarity, tone, and style while adhering to proper grammar and syntax rules in both languages.

• Provides precise renditions of messages, capturing all details of conversations and is ready for challenging calls at any time.

• Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication abilities, with clear enunciation, pronunciation, a pleasant and professional voice, and polite expressions.

• Adheres to client instructions, manages the flow of calls without dominating the conversation, and refrains from interacting with the limited English speaker without the client's consent.

• Maintains composure during calls, particularly when one of the primary speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergency situations.

• Remains punctual and accessible during scheduled working hours.

• Ensures reliable internet access for work-related electronic communications.

• Performs all other assigned duties.

• Applicants must be open to working Rotational Shifts (including nights).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum Requirements:

• 1. High School diploma or equivalent.

• 2. Native fluency in English and the other language.

• 3. Advanced understanding of cultural dynamics (including cultural implications and idiomatic expressions) of the language.

• 4. Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure a high level of accuracy.

• 5. Ability to concentrate, remain detached from the conversation, and stay neutral and objective at all times.

• 6. Capability to explain certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication with the client's permission or at their request.
