Unity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging learning experiences for mobile VR platforms utilizing Unity.

• Create scalable and dependable interactive experiences aimed at immersive STEM education.

• Assist in the development of C# platform systems.

• Design, construct, and sustain modular, reusable, and resilient code to ensure high-quality, low-footprint, and efficient immersive experiences.

• Collaborate with designers to prototype innovative interactive learning tools.

• Enhance production quality through thorough user testing.

• Iterate and maintain applications, tools, and functionalities for optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Establish strategies and development pipelines that integrate with release platforms.

• Create and refine tools to enhance the development process.

• Identify and optimize processes, application bottlenecks, and bugs.

• Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.

• A commitment to transforming and reimagining STEM education.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Proficiency in developing object-oriented software.

• Extensive experience in C# scripting.

• In-depth understanding of VR or similar development workflows using Unity.

• Experience in profiling and optimizing C# codebases.

• Ability to produce clean, readable, and maintainable code.

• Familiarity with source control, preferably Git.

• Openness to an iterative design process.

• Willingness to engage in various aspects of game development.

• Highly motivated and adept at working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
