Underwriting Support Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold electronic case files and documentation for both renewal and new business prospects.

• Initiate and oversee the setup of new business within Compass or Pluriform throughout the transition phase.

• Coordinate and manage Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

• Formulate and sustain renewal pricing models using Excel.

• Evaluate buyer information in IRP and refresh pricing models accordingly.

• Generate, manage, prepare, and submit Credit Limit Requests for both renewal and new business export buyers.

• Eliminate obsolete, unapproved, or unnecessary Credit Limit Requests.

• Complete and preserve final Risk-Based Pricing documentation based on issued binders.

• Collaborate with the Policy Implementation team for policy issuance coordination.

• Finalize renewal and new business checklists and upload necessary documentation to Compass.

• Manage operational and system-related requests, including finance tickets, buyer creation and maintenance, and Group Hierarchy assignments.

• Process and uphold policy mid-term adjustments within Compass.

• Ensure accurate records and data integrity across systems and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• 0–2 years of pertinent experience in credit insurance, finance, banking, credit management, or a similar setting.

• Strong analytical and research capabilities.

• Meticulous attention to detail and precision.

• Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• A positive outlook, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies and a willingness to learn and incorporate AI into daily business operations.

• Familiarity with Generative Artificial Intelligence, GenAI, AI, Data Analysis, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT.
