Underwriting & Servicing Operations Manager – Cards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the collections function from start to finish

• Oversee and enhance collections operations

• Act as the main point of contact for collections and servicing policy documentation

• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to compliant collections practices

• Establish collections performance metrics; monitor and report on delinquency rates

• Manage the complete operational layer across various IO credit product variants

• Bring consistency and rigor to the underwriting processes

• Oversee pipeline health and address operational bottlenecks

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in credit operations, underwriting, portfolio management, or collections

• Previous experience in a highly regulated financial services setting

• Strong decision-making skills in uncertain situations

• Proven history of managing and nurturing early-career team members

• Proficiency with data - comfortable using SQL or similar tools

• Experience with SMB credit, fintech lending products, credit cards, or capital products

• An inquisitive mindset regarding how AI tools can enhance operational efficiency
