Underwriting Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Begin with an analysis of initial underwriting data and tools.

• Manage additional underwriting requirements by assessing value, placing orders, and reviewing to facilitate risk selection.

• Complete the finalization of cases.

• Input medical history data and utilize system workbenches to process and make decisions on cases.

• Exhibit reliability, organizational skills, and sound judgment by following schedules and achieving all productivity, quality, and performance benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in Life Insurance Underwriting with a demonstrated expertise in underwriting processes and principles.

• Capability to make advanced decisions independently without a co-signature for amounts of 1 Million or higher.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for building relationships both internally and externally.

• Proficient critical thinking skills and attention to detail, with the ability to swiftly identify information through categorization, estimation, recognition of differences or similarities, and detection of changes in circumstances or events.

• Ability to interpret and convey information meaningfully to others, including translating or explaining how information can be utilized.

• Skill in establishing specific goals, planning, and prioritizing work effectively.
