This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Cyber Underwriters in the acquisition of new business and the renewal of existing accounts to ensure consistent underwriting decisions.
• Work alongside Underwriters to identify and fulfill support requirements for both new and active policies.
• Gather and analyze pertinent account information necessary for quoting and/or binding policies.
• Prepare underwriting referrals that include assessments of security exposures, security controls, and updated account details.
• Oversee account documentation management, which entails proposals, certificates, collateral agreements, policy modifications, endorsements, cancellations, broker record updates, and letters of experience.
• Engage in communication with brokers/agencies, insured parties/customers, and internal teams.
• Investigate and resolve issues while addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Provide administrative assistance, which includes entering account data into systems.
• Support the underwriter with administrative duties throughout the complete lifecycle of a risk.
• Reserve quotes for new business.
• Organize files for renewals, including file structuring, loss runs, and contract comparisons.
• Issue policies for new business, renewal rewrites, and endorsements, focusing on document creation, file upkeep, and system updates.
• Prepare decline letters.
• Maintain underwriting files and documentation to meet established standards.
• Build and sustain customer relationships with Underwriters, Sales teams, and external clients.
• Complete ongoing compliance and regulatory training requirements.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines diligently.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of the team.
• 1–5+ years of experience in Cyber Insurance.
• Strong time management abilities and the capability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, industry trends, and emerging technologies/tools relevant to cyber risk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced capabilities in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds on occasion.
