Senior Analyst, Underwriting Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain advanced knowledge of the healthcare market, pharmacy benefits management sector, CVS Health data repositories, and CVS sales/pricing methodologies.

• Deliver valuable insights to pricing partners by examining client data.

• Collaborate with Strategic Proposals Management and Underwriting teams to present clients with improved pricing alternatives and analytical insights.

• Conduct data analytics that support client-specific configurations and plan designs.

• Work alongside Underwriting to define, scope, and deliver analytical solutions that meet RFP requirements.

• Convert intricate analytical outcomes into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

• Modify analyses in response to alterations in requirements, assumptions, and methodologies.

• Assist cross-functional teams through ad hoc reporting, specialty projects, and initiatives aimed at process enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of analytical experience in analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing extensive data sets.

• Proven experience in utilizing business analytics to resolve data-driven inquiries.

• Capability to convey complex analytic findings and conclusions in a straightforward manner.

• Ability to prioritize competing client demands effectively to concentrate on the most impactful activities.

• Skill in interacting with others in a collegial and professional manner; leveraging team resources to assist assigned clients; promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing to accomplish essential tasks.

• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with SAS, R, or SQL is preferred.

• Prior experience or knowledge of the pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
