This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Underwriters to provide quotes, bind policies, and issue endorsements.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with brokers.
• Prepare and review policy files and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Request and verify Broker of Record letters and other necessary underwriting documentation.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Mentor Junior Underwriting Assistants.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Quality Review Coordinator across various lines of business.
• Prepare policies for issuance utilizing the appropriate Policy Administration System (PAS).
• Support the development, review, and implementation of Program Series guidelines and SOPs.
• Lead or assist in PAS testing and review initiatives in collaboration with management.
• Engage in special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Experience in the commercial insurance sector and regulatory landscape.
• Minimum of 3-5 years directly supporting commercial lines underwriters.
• Bachelor's degree; OR 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting.
• Proficient in PDF, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the year.
• Knowledge of project management software such as Monday.com (preferred).
• Familiarity with Policy Administration software like Origami or Federato (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Effective prioritization with minimal supervision.

• Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States without employment sponsorship/visa.
