Underwriting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Join Keep as a Junior Underwriting Analyst and play a vital role in assessing credit applications while supporting our credit operations team.

• Assist in reviewing financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and contributing to the establishment of dependable and responsible lending processes for Canadian businesses.

• Help in the examination of credit applications and in collecting the necessary documentation for thorough analysis.

• Support the underwriting team by inputting and organizing financial data to enable more comprehensive evaluations.

• Ensure that underwriting decisions are properly documented and maintain current records.

• Collaborate closely with team members to follow up on credit applications and enhance internal processes.

• Actively engage in learning about risk management, financial modeling, and credit policy to develop your underwriting expertise over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess strong attention to detail and enjoy working with numbers and financial data.

• You are proficient in using Google Sheets and Excel to organize and analyze data.

• Experience with Snowflake dashboards is a plus!

• You may be a recent graduate in a field related to Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
