Ukrainian VRI/OPI Interpretation Vacancy, Donetsk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during a call.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which you are interpreting (specifically healthcare and medical).

• Deliver all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Maintain the highest standard of customer service during interpretation.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing accurate and complete interpretation of the messages.

• Implement standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Ukrainian".

• Over 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is a bonus.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are advantageous (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Exceptional communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
