This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Quickly assess the existing implementation and document what is functioning well, what is not, and what is absent, with a prioritized roadmap agreed upon with the Sr. Director within the first 30 days.
• Act as Pindrop's primary subject matter expert on UKG Ready, owning system configuration, workflow creation, and ongoing optimization.
• Enhance and optimize UKG Ready modules pertinent to Pindrop’s scale: Core HR, Onboarding, Time & Attendance, Reporting, and Benefits Administration.
• Design and implement automated workflows that minimize manual data entry, eliminate duplicate processes, and enhance data accuracy throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Understand the outcomes of workflows—not just their configuration, but also their results, points of failure, and methods for validation.
• Set up manager and employee self-service features to decrease administrative ticket volume for the People Operations team.
• Review every historical data set in the system: identify inaccuracies, rectify historical data issues, and establish quality controls to prevent future occurrences.
• Own the technical connections between UKG Ready and downstream systems, including payroll, benefits administration, finance reporting, and IT provisioning.
• Develop data integrity checks and automated reporting that instill confidence in leadership regarding headcount and compensation data at any given time.
• Collaborate with IT and Security on system governance, access controls, and integration architecture.
• Uphold accuracy as an unwavering standard—identify issues proactively, escalate when necessary, and maintain high data quality.
• Clearly communicate the system's functions to non-technical colleagues—explain how it operates, its configuration rationale, and what actions to take when discrepancies arise.
• Train the Sr. Manager of People Operations and other team members on UKG Ready administrative tasks, self-service features, and reporting capabilities.
• Treat knowledge transfer as a continual responsibility rather than a task to complete at the end of the engagement—documenting SOPs is essential while building and coaching.
• Approach the role with an exceptional attitude: be open to listening, eager to learn, and committed to the success of others and the processes surrounding you.
• Exhibit a process improvement mindset, not merely addressing what is broken, but also identifying and implementing superior methods.
• Document all configuration choices, workflow builds, and system changes in a manner that a permanent HRIS Analyst can adopt and maintain; this is a critical deliverable.
• Create and maintain a UKG Ready administration guide for Pindrop, detailing system architecture, module configuration, integration mapping, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Deliver a thorough knowledge transfer of accomplishments by the end of the sixth month, ensuring operational continuity upon the conclusion or transition of the term.
• Build and sustain HR dashboards and reporting within UKG Ready, covering headcount by function, attrition trends, onboarding timeframes, compensation distribution, and compliance completion rates.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of People Operations to ensure reporting fulfills the requirements of both People Operations and Finance.
• Establish reporting standards and schedules that the permanent HRIS function can uphold following the conclusion of the term.
• Over 4 years of direct ownership of UKG Ready—not just usage, but also system administration, workflow configuration, module development, and integration management.
• Proven experience in assessing and optimizing an under-configured or underperforming UKG Ready instance, ideally one inherited from a previous configuration rather than a newly built system.
• Familiarity with UKG Ready integrations, including payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, or finance reporting systems.
• Strong focus on data integrity: experience in auditing HR data, identifying systemic errors, and implementing quality controls.
• Experience in creating HR dashboards and reporting within UKG Ready.
• Background in training non-technical HR team members on UKG Ready administrative and self-service functionalities.
• Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
• Opportunity for professional development and continuous learning.
• Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
